About CMS
The Centre for Maritime Health Service is a part of the Danish Maritime Authority and is domiciled on the island of Fanø.
Vision
The Centre for Maritime Health Service has a vision of being world-leading in the maritime-medico field.
The Danish Maritime Authority has created a cohesive maritime health service that does not have its equal any where else worldwide.
This cohesion is facilitated by the Maritime Health Service in cooperation with Radio Medical Denmark and the Centre for Maritime Health and Society.
The Centre is a knowledge and competence centre within the maritime-medico area. We consider, for example, exemptions and are available for guidance and answers to questions from the industry.
The Centre has a vision of creating the world's best maritime health service and is the first place in the world where seafarers are taught by means of simulating patients.
